What a First Week!
Since our launch in the app store last week, things have been amazing! Just wanted to share with you all some numbers and stats.
15 Thousand + Downloads
That’s right! In the first week we hit about 17,000 downloads. Way to go team!
Top 25 in Paid Apps
We got high as #19 in paid social networking apps. That’s pretty awesome considering the app was only out for 4 days before…
Top 50 in Free Apps
On Sunday we went on sale! For the beautiful price of free everyone had access to CardFlick. We got as high as #39 in free social networking apps. This is a big deal because we are competing with the giants on that list, including apps from Twitter, Google, FaceBook, Foursquare and more. Couldn’t be happier!
Flicks Around The World
People have been exchanging cards around the world. We’d had over 12,000 cards flicked in over 350 cities like:

Emailing Cards
Even if other people around you don’t have the app, you can always email your card. Over 1900 emailed cards have gone out, and some people are emailing their card out on a daily basis! About 10% of users have at least emailed a card once.
Redesigned Web Site
On Tuesday we launched a redesigned HTML5 Responsive web site. Along with a beautiful new look, the site now works on mobile devices! That includes you fandroids! We had over 8,000 visits on Tuesday alone!
Winner At TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2011
Possibly the most amazing thing of all is that community has spoken. We’re amazed at the outpouring of support from the tech community at Disrupt. Not only did we win Audience Choice on Tuesday, we actually had other startups who were competing with us vote for us! Now that’s traction!
It was a great opportunity to present CardFlick to the world and hear feedback from prominent VCs and tech bloggers. People from around the world came to our booth to snag one of our fabulous t-shirts and talk to us. A few of us lost our voices due to all the talking!
